Hello !
I want to use these adapters for 2 projects :
1. using Rollei mount lenses on my Rebel (the lenses are still in the EBAY Laughing )
2. using the thin QBM adapter as a replacement mount to the Fujinon X-mount lenses in order to convert them as I've seen in : http://forum.mflenses.com/x-fujinon-50mm-1-6-fujica-x-to-eos-t27649,highlight,fujinon.html
So , i need a resonable priced adapter machined with low tolerances
what about : http://www.enjoyyourcamera.com/Canon-Accessories/Lens-Mount-Adapter-for-Rollei-QBM-SL-35-2000-on-Canon-EOS-EF-Bayonet-eg-30D-20D-350D-300D-1D-1Ds-5D::43.html (a little pricey) or http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230545105044&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT ?
But ,today came the Voigtlander Color Ultron 50mm 1.8 !
So, I need an adapter also for this lens

I have seen that there are at least 2 types of QBM-EOS adapters :
one ,wich can work with the 50mm 1.8 and one wich can't .
As the aspect of the adapter , I have seen that there are adapters
1.-with aperture pin pressing plate , and
2.-without (an italian type ,Orio gave the link on this forum):

those with the pressing plate for the aperture pin are in two types :

1. one in wich the pressing plate is situated at 90degrees from the locking hole on the adapter (in wich the locking pin of the EOS mount fits) ,in the inferior part of the mount .This type is the more common ,I belive (from what I've seen in the virtual shops),and blocks the contacts of the camera .Can't be used, it seems ,with an AF confirm chip.
Some sellers said it won't work with the 50/1.8 ,but it's unclear to me if this is only for FF cameras (mirror hitting on the back element of the lens) or on the APS-C cameras also.

2.the second has less than 90 degrees between the pressing plate and the locking hole ;it seems that this can accomodate an AF confirm chip.

Unfortunately , the seller doesn't have it any more , so I'd like to use some like the next one ,with an AF confirm chip glued on it

Who has some experience withe these types of adapters please, share it
Thank you !

About the adapter without the pin plate, ask the seller, I think they now provide only those with the pin plate, but not sure.

About the chip, it's not for sale anymore almost surely because it does not work. I have been told that due to the conformation of the lens, it is impossible to implant a FA chip on a rollei-eos adapter.

My rollei-eos adapters are all chipless and with the pin plate.

Thanks , Orio !
It seems that a good alternative is the conversion kit : http://forum.mflenses.com/chipped-qbm-to-eos-conversion-kit-t29673,start,15.html
