Yes, I think there's an actual bug inside my Nikon E-series 100mm.

I dont know if it shows up in the pics, because I don't feel like wasting a roll of film.

this is the sharpest shot I could get of it

It's been there for a while, but I figured if I ever was going to ask how to fix it, this would be the right place Smile

What I'm wondering is if it's possible to open up this lens and assemble it again without horribly screwing up the lens.

I'm guessing this is a little piece of "dirt" that I can just blow or carefully wipe off...only problem is it's inside the lens...

So, has anyone opened up a Nikon lens before?

if so, which screw(s) do I unscrew: 1 2 or 3?

There's no rush, but if I could fix this it'd be great.

Thanks,
Tom

I opened up a lens in a terribla shape and it was not valuable so it felt not to bad. It the depents on de value that a lens has for you and what risk you want to take.

Maybe this helps!
