Melting snow, 4000 feet above, sends little rushes of water through the rain forest moss. A rather simple image, but sometimes simple works okay.

Wow.. another awesome shot.. Who says a leica can't take landscapes.. hehe.. great flowing line and great ss for the water. Colours are awesome too...

Thank to all of you! I sometimes wish I still had the Leicaflex
and Summicron. But you know how it goes....sell this, buy that,
etc. etc. etc.

I just feel better with medium format, and I like the way
the transparencies scan, as all I have is the flatbed. The flatbed
is only "adequate" for 35mm, compared to "good" for medium
format.

The "problem" with Velvia is that I'm already shooting a subject
here that is naturally "over-saturated", so the Velvia can turn these
bright greens into something almost garish. I did manipulate this
image, by decreasing the saturation in Photoshop Elements by
-20! Shocked

btw, it looks like a painting. Very nice colours.
