hello Wink

I have in mind to buy many differents primes lenses from contax/yashica to shoot some landscapes

I will buy anyway certainly most of the good lenses lenses but I want to start by buying those with the most micro-contrast above all ahahaha

for all lenses under 100mm I have no issues not make decision, so my goal here is not to have help for lenses under 100mm

I'm only interested there to speak about all lenses between 100mm included and 200mm as I consider that over 200mm It is not good to shoot landscape (even 200mm is a bit off "limits" from my POV)

I'm also quite sure that there is some 100mm on the top of micro contrast, but certainly could be more interesting to have more infos about the best primes with microcontrast around 135mm or 180mm ahahah

It is to use on one sony alpha 7II so If you have other differents suggestion than the C/Y primes I'm not stuck and I'm totally open mind=)

oh and no Macro.

I have this list for the moment:

C/Y
100mm F2.0 Planar
100mm F3.5 Sonnar
135mm F2.0 Planar
135mm F2.8 Sonnar
135mm F3.5 Sonnar
180mm F2.8 Sonnar
200mm F2.0 APO-Sonnar
200mm F3.5 Tele-Tessar
200mm F4.0 Tele-Tessar

thanks in advance

for example a few photos from 180/2.8 (sony a7 camera-jpeg)

Many of these lenses were outperformed by other manufacturers even in the mid-1980s. The 135mm f3.5 and f2.8 were good at their time (around 1975), but modern lenses such as the Leica M APO 3.4/135mm are certainly better corrected. Both the Sonnar 2.8/180mm as well as the Tele-Tessar 3.5/200mm have visible CAs; again the corresponding Minolta AF 2.8/200mm APO and the AF Nikkor 2.8/180mm ED are better performers. I don't know the f2 Planars / Apo Sonnar; at least the latter should be a top performer even today.
