The 'Takumar Collection' thread inspired me to look again for this lens.

So pretty lucky I could find one at a decent price.


Its a habit for me to just try to stick to a lens for at least a week to learn more about it, so here are some shots taken with the lens.

Very happy I bought it.
Kind of reminds me of a Helios 44, but with more control, better build, etc.

I missed my chance to grab one of these,beautiful images.Does it handle like all Takumar lens...smooth and easy focusing?

Mine is nice for the optics and exterior, but I think its focusing is probably suffering from a bit of stiffened grease, though its not serious.

Very good, you get the best out of what is obviously a very good lens.
