Pete,
Both portraits are great, the first with a press camera lens, maybe a Graflex Crown on mini Speed Graphic, the colors are superb, the second pic is an achievement in terms of light metering, the woman portrait looks great, comfortable in front of the lens,
Cheers,

The Raptar was off of a Polaroid 110. I do have a few other press camera lenses like the Ektar 127 and Carl Zeiss Jena 135. I was mostly playing with the Raptar for macro work but gave it a try with a portrait.

Lovely portrait with beautiful and gentle lady.
That Hexanon 1.4/50 bokeh makes this portrait different.

I have a 44-6 for many years and I find it outstanding as well. I have a 44-4 on the way from Southern Siberia and am hoping it does as well as my 44-6. All the 44m series are good but some a little better than others. I guess I will have to wait and see.
