Ahhh, such a great lens... Love the vibrant colors in your shots! Have you ever tried using it for portraits?

Very good !

Pictures are great but some of them bugs are quite impressive for a northern guy !


Do you use a flash and diffuser ?

Great job. I have had little success with macro. I think my mistake is that I don't change my technique from normal photography. Was your lighting natural? Also, what aperture settings?

All were flashed with a softboxed 430EX. There's a link to the setup in the first post.

Aperture varied, but never went wider than f/8 on the lens itself (effectively f/16).

It's macro season again. Very Happy Still using the same setup, but a Nikon SB-26 will soon enter the fray.
