ive not had one, but i understood it was one of the great lenses of all time, and perhaps the single best 28. can you share your opinion a bit deeper?

thanks for stopping by
I'm glad you like them. Thx

@rbelyell
the thing is that I expected this lens to blow me away from all
the talk that was and maybe is still going on about it , I did not used it as
much I liked to that's why I cant give a proper verdict on it ,It's not that its a bad lens or
anything like that its just that I expected better overall performance > one example is
that depending on how light hits the lens WO it has a bit of glow (some people call it leica glow or so ..
I got this from a blog where the person was talking about this efect when using it wo)
anyway this is a nice lens .

cheers
Catalin

Could you please explain a little bit how you got such nice shots? What were the settings and where did you focus
for example? They look very nice. I am new at photography and it would be a big help to me. Thank you. Smile

Thanks for the kind words.

@uddhava
I don't have any special workflow or anything like this ,
for me its a question of mood when taking and editing the photos
setting wise for landscape I use mainly f8 or f11 (I never go above f11)
I use live view for focusing and a last thing for the output files I always use
re size with sharpen (standard option in LR) or websharpen action for PS
here are some links where you can find these actions

that's about it

Amazing photos, especially #1!

The lens is very nice, and the resistance to flare is amazing for such a lens.
In my opinion, it is a bit bulky on the a7[r]. But I have yet to find something better on my a7r.
The adapter makes it too long and adds 100gr, making it about 40% heavier than the body.
