Congratulations. #2 is absolutely stunning.
This is a wonderful lens with amazing sharpness. Look at the overhead power lines on top of the mountain.

Is there a really big difference between the 11A and the 11 which makes the first to cost the double?

yes, huge . 11A has modern coating sharp with excellent contrast big and heavy, older alu 11 has lower contrast as usual on any old lens and less sharp too, but lightweight.

not sure he is big fond of nice looking old lenses, 11A not fit into his collection interests.

I sometimes buy lenses just out of beauty

It is actually none of the two mentioned versions, but the 11-2 (old style black version)
I have never owned a 11A
