I love the forest pictures, and the lake pictures. The wider landscape pictures are good, but the forest ones are superb images. Cool

I don't always like pictorialism, but this is really good work. Actually, it makes me want to try it.

Yes, thank you, I'm going to try it too.

I have a +10 and a +12 (about) diopter closeup lenses, that sort seems like it should work.

Very nice the recent ones serkol!!

I like soft focus photography too and have a few lenses that allow that...

I really like these pictures. Very well done. I think getting an effective picture with such a lens is not so easy. You have mastered the art!

I have a couple of meniscus lenses, but I only manage to get bad pictures with them. I will have to try harder.

Lovely pictures. You have used the lenses to their best. The one of the building doesnt work for me. The woodland pictures could be faerie forests on the Isle of Man. Dreamy and romantic.

Mt wife oo'd and aahh'd at every one!

Well done

Thank you, friends!
Yes, these lenses focus difficult. Requires patience and skill. But you can learn, it would wish.
I love softfocusing and meniscus lenses.
Interesting to see the photos taken by other meniscus lenses. You can post them here.

Sergei

These are very interesting and some are very beautiful images, especially the third back - colorful path. Is it important how they were produced, or more the end result? Of course the scene selection is very important because the effect may not work equally well with everything. Would you consider this to be a similar style image?

My english poor, and hard for me explain, exuse me. Yes, your right, effect not work equally well with everything. Meniscus (or MONOCLE, MONOLENS) love light, or spote of light. Residual non corrected spherical aberration bring very intesting light and sof effects.
Your examle have soft, but have not light effect. Is this monolens? Or soft focus lens? Or PP in PS?

Mine was Photoshop first attempt. I do see some differences, particularly where darker areas have more detail and lighter areas the greater diffusion. Is this how you see it? Perhaps if I evaluate more closely and better understand the effect, I could also modify the PS technique.

PS - bad way... without soul. Difficult and not perspectivly. Shooting with monolens more exiting and intesting. You work with light in very different, very enjoyable way. ... You see mistical inner light, soul of things
