It is? I always thought they were different design (5 elements vs 6), and I always thought I liked the Volna 3 better than the Biometar 80.
But I may not remember correctly.

BTW, speaking of important things: beautiful pics, taken with a camera and a lens that I like very much (I have two copies of the Volna).

Very nice. Especially the close up detail shot 11. 15 is also very nice.

Nice samples, well done. I'm also a fan of the Volna-3,
Mine came from Carsten quite long ago and it goes always inside my bag.
I love its bokeh. I'ts the same lens than the Arsat 80/2.8

Yes, although both are Gauss types, the designs of the Volna and Biometar are different.
I too prefer the more classic look by the Volna.
