What day is today?

I have the answer... it's the 200th day of the year. For those that might want to honor their 200mm lenses, take a shot today and post to a thread in the digital gallery. Whoever gets there first starts the thread. I hope to get something after work. Here's a recent from my favorite 200mm for inspiration:

Now there lies a photographic opportunity.

Well, today I found a packet in my postbox and... it contained a 200mm lens, so now it's mandatory to share the first test shot.

The lens is a Tele-Takumar 5.6/200, and the dirt specks are on the sensor.

This would have been the perfect opportunity to try out my new tiny Zuiko OM 200/5 which I have high hopes for. Unfortunately I'm at work and it will take a few days before I get home again.

A splendid idea. Btw, wich lens is the last lens of the year? The Zuiko 350/2.8 maybe?

good idea! today hasn't been the best day for photography and I may be a bit late, but I wanted to take part and had a peak across the alley from the window with a preset Takumar f5.6/200 on Ricoh GXR M

True, it's slow, but it has a lovely character, and it's extremely small and light.
And I have some alternatives between f2.8 and f4 in case I need more speed.

A view I've taken with many lenses and there is a picture here somewhere, I've just got to find the right combo for everything.

anyway Fuji 200mm EBC M42 on film for this shot.

I like a bit of sports photography too. I like the guy playing pocket billiards. Look at the concentration on his face. Well done.
