Single example from my Jupiter-9 (black, M42).
Shot with Canon 5D Mk ll at f2.
Some editing in Lightroom 5 but no sharpening.

I really, really like this lens. It has spent far too much time on a shelf while I played with a variety of other lenses, nowadays it's usually the first lens into my bag. Smile

Very nice indeed, I love the slightly vignetting you get from the MKII Wink

Actually, you have a valid point. Here's another shot without any editing at all.

Beauty portrait.

A little detail? The strong green horizont line should be a bit distrating.

Very nice colors.

I agree the horizon isn't great where it is in the shot, I was rushing to take the photos because these cows can just get up and walk off anytime (and they did 2 minutes later). I'll try to keep that in mind next time. Wink

'little detail', can you explain what you mean please? I don't understand Embarassed

I like both versions, actually. In the first, the subject has really nice pop. I didn't notice the green horizon until it was pointed out. If it's a distraction you can knock it down some in LR.

The point is, the J-9 can give some excellent results as we see here. Thanks!
