Nikon D700, Nikkor 35 mm f/1.4 Ais lens with a PK-13 extension ring.

first one would be excellent but it needs more depth of field

Nice ones, the backyard is never dull if you have some macro tubes!

Actually I think photographers and little kids are the only people who appreciate dandelions.

Yes, I agree with a proper macro lens and maybe a flash the pic could have been better. On the other hand, the thin DOF makes smooth backgrounds...
