I took these a few weeks ago at my local shrine. D3000 with Ais 50/1.4 , pre Ai 55/3.5 , pre Ai 135/2.8.

Thanks for looking. Very Happy

That last image just stands out as the best of the group, very nice series.

The usual OUTSTANDING images that you post to us. Smile

On the image of the cherry blossoms in foreground and temple in background, it might be even better
(my opinion only) if the depth of field was sharp from foreground all the way to background.

The last image is awesome!

#6 (the closeup) and #10 (the last) are my favourites.

Thanks everyone.

I'm lucky to have a nice cherry blossom site very close to my house. I was out of town for most of the season this year so I was pleased to get a couple of reasonable shots.

Thanks for sharing. I love the "sakura" time. I've got just one cherry tree, it's only 4 years old and it's very pleaseant to watch the nice small flowers when they bloom.
Very nice and delicate tones in your pictures, I like them all.

Thanks. I was going for a slightly high key look especially in the first image.

Splendid, nice idea to include the lanterns in the first five, it renders the pics less, hmm, obvious. I like the others too, the blossoms have such a delicate colour over there...
