Not air balloon. It as at the top of a castle's dunjeon, itself at the top of a hill. Very Happy

Not really.
Village was at the feet of the castle.
The castle was on a hill. Smile

As often in middle age, village inhabitants can enter the castle and be under their lord's protection.
