Welcome back Henry, that first image is a stunner,a painting. Cool

Thanks MO..

yes, the lens is a Canon SH 1.7/30mm.. i got from a Canon DEMI EE which was in a horrible state. I did buy this DEMI EE 17 cam from a repair shop, that gives up trying to repair the cam.. not possible.

So i decided to bring the lens with parts of the VNEX System to a Sony NEX cam.. i was searching for a little lens like this..

And this is an interesting lens. vignetting on the edges in some situations (its "halfframe").. but has an own charakter.. a bit like the old Biotar Swirl.. and very small "cateyes".. Very Happy

I tried a simple flash set-up. A Nikon SB-30 used on a D600 as the commander, with an SB-25 as the main flash with an optical slave behind and below the jug. The light from the SB-30 at 1/8th power and with its screen up is enough to trigger the slave on the SB-25, but not enough to light the jug from the front. Nikkor 85mm f1.4 AIS at f8
