I always really liked back-lit subjects. It's difficult to expose for but the images seem cinematic to me. So here's a bokeh-rich, which I know is a love or hate thing, photo:

And hey, why not a few bonus shots?

Agree, #2 is a definite framer.

I really love #3. Perfect-
Stasia must become an actress. She is very intense in almost every pose she takes.
Agree with your thoughts about backlight.

I like these a lot as well. Number 3 for me, if I have to choose. But that hand looks a bit weird Smile

Beautiful! I'm not sure which I prefer, guess all are top notch!

Number 1 is great the "scarf" with the back light makes it excellent.

1 and 2 for me, superb! As Orio says, Anastasia always seems to have real meaning in her pose Smile

Thanks so much everyone!

The awkward hand in #3 was really because it wasn't a pose at all. I just quickly took it while she was situating the ferret it her arms. They are a squirmy and quick animal for manual focus, that's for sure.

Back-lit is great when it is done well, like with your shots. I like them all too.
