As usually I do have great difficulties to choose three of my photos as the "best 3 shots" this year.

To be honest, I simply can't.

All the following images appeal to me on a similar level...

1
Marburg by LucisPictor, on Flickr

2
IntotheLight by LucisPictor, on Flickr

3
Fairground by LucisPictor, on Flickr

4
Infrarot by LucisPictor, on Flickr

5
Sleeper by LucisPictor, on Flickr

And event this one, despite being totally unspectacular, has a very special touch for me. It shows my mum.

You guys pick the three that you like the most, ok? Wink

I think that Fairground and Into the light are standouts (out of the 5). All very good but for me, these two are special!

This is the Digital Forum and I don't shoot digital, but Attila started the thread with a film shot so I feel justified in posting (in no particular order):

Past year has been a coming back into photography year for me after some time with much health problems affecting my brain and nerves (optic nerve). It was a real head ache and a great relieve to find my passion for viewing things through a viewfinder was still there Very Happy I found myself buying new old lenses and even new camera body. This coming year i hope to gain some confidence in different photographic categories like streetphotography, landscape and portraits...

Pick your three, five was the lowest I could go.. (sorry mods)

Loved the accidental glow from use of tair 11A with extension tubes in harsh lighting:

Again the Tair 11A, I really fell in love with this lens in 2012:

Stacking lenses, also new for me in 2012. Here Panagor 90mm macro and reversed takumar 50mm f1.4:

Old love found again, moss, light and macro takumar preset...:

Again macro takumar preset and example of insect macro that doesn't always have to be super close..:

There are some very nice photos here. Nice work everyone! Keep it up this year and post more of your work. I had a hard time of this, so chose three I like, but not sure they were best.

I don't know why, but my first picture looks washed out compared to the image I'm seeing at pbase where I have linked. Take a look and see if you agree...
