Is this some kind of special event, the first 3 or 4 shots they look like midgets (if its ok to use that word, if not, person of restricted growth) ?

A superb series!!
Don't really know what to add more... great captures, very expertly prepared and composed. Great photographer, stunning Angenieux performance!
If any 180mm lens has pop... that one is it!!

That is really a great series Pascal. The Angenieux is a very sharp lens. Perfect !

Thanks all for your kind com Smile ...
yes the angenieux is a fabulous lens, I did not noticed it but all these shots are almost without PP, only some light adjustments, some crop but no contrast & sharpening were add...same for the voigtlander SL 2/40, a great little lens!
I was thinking about B&W conversion but I'm not sure about it Confused ..
here is a try with simply using silver effex pro:

The dirt looks better in B&W, but the bikers look better in colour, and since the bikers are the main subject, I vote for colour.

Action shots full of action. My favourites are all the ones with the dirt being thrown up. Some of the best dirt track shots I have ever seen.

+1

Superb contrast, "pop" and perfect timing...The feeling of motion is very well portrayed.

thanks also to both of you Embarassed .... but I really think that anybody with a little bit of practice (and with the same combo) could get the same results......

No, because your photos are very well composed, and the sense of image composition (especially shooting a live event) is not something that everybody has, or that experience can always bring.

13 and 15 are fit for motocross magazines!

Fantastic shots Pascal, thank you for sharing!

Would you mind if I download them to use as my laptop background?

That's a really nice compliment Hari Embarassed ...and of course you can use it as background for your laptop, are you a motocross fan???..... but may be your girl friend will be not so happy to see this picture on your laptop instead of a beautiful portrait of herself Very Happy
