A torch light was used to highlight the mycelia
I don't know exact magnification but it was somewhere around 1:1

Some years ago one of my hobbies was to cultivate and select many kinds of fungus on homemade agars and growing fruit bodys for consumption on wood/rye/straw etc..
I wonder if these lens-fungi are able to make eatable fruit-bodys like champignons, shiitake etc. Very Happy
It might be a interesting project to grow eatable fungi from lenses Cool
