Great shot! Is this worked on? The heat has altered the background but not the man.

I think it's a filter, like "stained glass" or something.

Thanks! it surprized me as well, i guess some cold wind blew at the moment towards the man and the hot air was pushed to the sides.

i used a 300mm focal lenght (althou not manual foucs but AF lens.. but i think my tair 3s is much better then this modern zoom lens problem is its so heavy.)
only thing i did was vignette and add contrast in PS and before that i just made it look realistic in ACR oh and brightened up his face and added some ~orange~ tint Wink. so the hot air affect is really there i just made it look more dramatic Wink Cool
