http://photo-element.ru/ps/ants/ants.html

Found this post today. Russian photographer Andrey Pavlov has published his "ant tales" series. Astonishing works he has!
Equipment as follows (as per author):
1. Transformer-scene with variable height, angle and props holders
2. Raynox-250 macrolense of all times and nations
3. Flashes - I like smart and powerful babies Metz CS28 but using Yongnuo 460 ll more often. Metz has light only sync and this is not good in a sunny day (remark: I always shoot with an impulse light or mustache vibration of active ant gives many trailings)

His favorite actors are formica rufa ants. All shots done mostly in multiexposition technique: series with a fixed camera, scene and light goes into an editor where being posted by eraser tool. He doesn't like collage except some special cases - like moon with stars.

P.S. For those interested there is a very nice thread here http://forum.mflenses.com/wide-angle-macro-how-did-he-do-it-t18155.html

I suppose I was mistaken when choosed this forum. Would be great to move it to Manual Focus Lenses section as far as theme refers to Raynox-250.

Added: Thanks for moving. Now right in place.
