Yes, it's almost macro, coz I use non macro lenses, then cropped them. I used Fujian 35/1,7 and CZ Sonnar 135/2,8 for these. taken not far from my place.
Cropped to see detail. It looks like macro shot

first 2 with fujian

Thanks for viewing...and comments Very Happy

After you cropped, the photos are still very sharp. I was wondering how is it you can stand so close to the insects. Still, all the photos are very nice.

Well there were quiet lot of them and just made myself patient to wait. I used burst mode to made first pict (my fave one, and most difficult). it's very fast that I could only made just 1 good shot.
I just tested Fujian (its belong to my friend), at this rate, I might consider to buy it. But I know quality control is bad. some copy has defect. Very Happy

Beautiful work!
What is that critter in the first pictures that seems to be made out of 2 halves?

What fantastic results! I see you used the Nex-5 for the Fujian shots, does your lens suffer from the soft edges like mine?

This fujian isn't mine Very Happy I swap my lens with my friend. Yes it suffer like that. so its not recommended for landscape.
