It's been a mild winter here in Portlandia. Many flowers are still hanging on.

Planning to continue and evolve this work in 2012.
Most were shot with my Schneider Xenar 50/2.8 except where indicated.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I feen like I'm still getting tuned-up after the holidays.

IAZA, no I haven't done my new book. Planning to have a full look at last year's work and begin the process. I hope to print some self published copies to shop to publishers.

poilu, you may be right about FF, but what is the advantage? The way I see it, I'm using my lenses sweet spot, they are longer (which I like) and a Canon 60D is sooo much cheaper than the Canon full frame, so I can afford more lenses!
Twisted Evil

I am curious about it though.

Hi Mark,

Excellent pictures as usual.

Your sign is clearly noticeable on these pics.

FF camera?? Definitely better feeling and gives more sense to the composition.

And the most important thing is that a lens originally built for FF camera is simply built/balanced for FF not for APS-C crippled view Wink.

I have had APS-C once, if I get another one, it will be definitely NEX7 or something similar but not APS-C with mirror.

trifox, thanks, I continue to try to find a unique voice. It's a never ending search and a joy!

I hear you about FF. Just upgraded last fall to a Canon 60D which has worked well. It's mainly the cost which holds me back. I'm sure my next upgrade will be a FF DSLR.

Love them all but number 3 is fantastic, almost science fiction look to it, waiting for a mouth to appear lol
