I always wanted to try milk drops... so here they are :

Setup :

Camera : Canon t2i in BULB mode
Lens : Vivitar 90-230 f4.5 Close Focusing Auto Zoom.
Flash : YongNuo YN-565 EX.
Trigger : DIY Smatrig (laser beam mode) connected to Flash.
Drops : Skim Milk and food coloring.

f16 or f22 always using the "Close Focus" setting on the lens.
Iso 400 or 800.
Flash at 1/16 or 1/32.
Drop by hand on a plate full of milk.

Post editing in photoshop for some ~+1 stop exposure, crop and resize.

excellent! next time try it with clear water and colored drops and maybe some color background Wink
