Something went wrong with this lens, Heliar is a beautiful sharp lens.

I was quite surprised. I am used to see very sharp pictures from your hand!
If this picturalism is a new trend I finally can use my Rokkor lenses with generic adapter with optical element on my DSLR. Laughing

Nice, really. Dreamy. You still see it´s a very good lens, but the effect is stunning and not as superficial as many other fashions...

yesterday i was very busy and forgot to mention about front lens removing please forgive me ...but i like the effect of this heliar this was the modifcation about picturalism this is my new hobby to create pictorial photographs

That's an interesting hobby and thanx a lot for sharing with us.
I wouldn't ever have this idea of removing the front lens.

Further question, same as Luis : with front lens removed, what focal length do you obtain ?
