I do not have my Lydith yet, but have learned that it has some fogging. Does anyone have experience with disassembling this lens? Level of difficulty?

Not taken one apart but have taken other Meyers apart. Difficulty is easy, solid old-fashioned engineering.

I have just finished modifying an Exakta mount Meyer Lydith 30/3.5 to Nikon F mount...... This one was taken handhelding the lens with my D700 before modification......

Is there a difference between the Pentacon and Orestegon version?
I've read some nice reviews about the Pentacon 29mm f/2.8 and was actually at picking one up, but this thread is kind of putting me off, should I be?

I finally received my Lydith and Orestegon and yesterday, and here's a few test shots from last night/this morning. All taken on my 7D with auto white balance and iso set to 800 for some reason:

1: At f9 or so, focused to infinity

2: Wide open, at Starbucks

3: Wide open, on my street

4: Wide open, last night in my kitchen

No Post done except for small exposure adjustments on 1 and 4. I'll post some test shots of the Orestegon soon Smile
