Cooltouch, I really like your high contrast photos. Are they wet or digital darkroom?

If I had to find a weak spot in them, I'd say that #1 and #2 don't have much to do with the People contest Wink

Impressive portraits!

Would you mind listing the lenses you used for the first 4 of them?
Are they scanned film?

I don't think they're scanned films. I think 5D MkII and MF Lenses.
In N°4 I'm wondering wether Helios-40 or Trioplan, or Jupiter-9. Smile

If you click on the Flickr link, I enter all those metadata in the Flickr tags Smile Anyway, they are:

1. 5D Mk2 + Helios 40-2
2. Graflex Pacemaker Speed Graphic + Kodak Aero Ektar 178mm f2.5
3. Pentax 67II + smc 105mm f2.4
4. Graflex Pacemaker Speed Graphic + Kodak Aero Ektar 178mm f2.5

And yes, self-developed and scanned film for 2-4

Very Happy

I love the happy spirit conveyed by most of them, my favorite are #5, #4, #6 and #2. The film photos carry much atmosphere and make me rethink my priorities in what I look for in a photo

That's a really interesting frame. I'd like to see how it looks cropped to vertical to emphasize the lines leading to the woman. Maybe maintain the line of guys on the left.

thank you for the suggestion. I thought that the restaurant, it's shapes, design, colors asf. are an integral part and I had liked her being isolated against much foreground, therefore a crop had not occurred to me. But these surroundings may be more important in this first take where she still is sitting at the entrance

taken with Pen-F Zuiko f2.8/25mm on NEX5N

and the crop of the original may work better

best greetings,
andreas

These were taken with a Sony Nex 5n. The first two photos used a Konica Hexanon 40mm f1.8 wide open. The last three photos used a Super Takumar 85mm f1.9, wide open. They were shot at a birthday party for my niece; her 16th.
