A picture of myself with the Yashica Mat. Obviously getting pretty
tired out here. A little bit "off" on the composition. Holding the

Nice to see your work in this thread Larry. Wow we are on page 12 and almost 11,000 views already.
Keep them coming guys.
Larry I love all of yours but, the view of the "boardwalk'' trail really makes me feel homesick for the NW.
Here is a late day view of Lyons Colorado where I am now from up on a high ridge. A poor shot but tells the story.

Larry,
While I like 'em all, I guess I'd have to say that the rocks are my favorite.
Any more pics of the Oregon coast? I visited it in 1995 -- the Dunes National Park, and its amazing shoreline, plus a few other nice places -- and took US 101 down the coast, saw some spectacular scenery.
In fact -- got a little story to tell, sorry for the distraction -- back when we took that trip, we rented a motorhome, started in Los Angeles, took an inland route up to Vancouver, BC, then took a coastal route back, US 101 mostly. For this trip, I had purchased a road atlas. This particular road atlas had a fantastic photograph of a piece of twisty road descending a cliff next to the ocean along the southern Oregon coast -- according to its caption. So, I was driving the motor home, and it became my mission to find that exact spot where the photo was taken. And as I was maybe 50 miles or so north of the Oregon-California border, I saw that I was getting close. And when I hit the exact spot, all I could do was slow down because there were no turn-outs in the road there. There was one up above, but no way to turn around at that point. So I ended up driving all the way down to a rocky beach where I was finally able to pull over. Still, I made it.
I still have that road atlas, and I hope to make the journey again one day, but this time, I won't miss the early turn-out. _________________ Michael

I have an illness: I saw an Autocord sitting there, in the 35mm section of Ebay, without bids. So I bid. I hope the thing works, as the Minolta and the Ricoh Diacord are reputed to have the best Tessar style lenses, including Rolleis and Ikoflexes. Will know in a week or so... I do know the Diacord lens is something else. _________________ -Jussi
