Nikkor 300mm f4.5, Nikon D300. 1/250, f5.6. This is a really handy 300, the ED-IF version, which is compact for hiking. Taken at Ward Lake, Alaska.

Thanks F16. I love crows but I find them hard to get close to. So this one was shot from the comforts of my heated car on a cold day. Very Happy

Another favourite of mine is the Raven and they're equally hard to get close to. This one landed right in front of me while I was sitting and waiting for the Puffins.

Himself...Thanks. It's a humpback whale tail and was shot in Witless Bay, Newfoundland, Canada. They were very active that day.
