This is a strange thing. The 3.5/35 which is offered here sometimes hit the mirror of my 5D and sometimes it didn't, no matter at which focus.
Anyway, I'd rather mention it. Perhaps it can be adjusted to a 5D.

It only gets stranger  ; my 5D1 mirror hits both Super and S-M-C 3.5/35(!). Serial number is lower, 4537nnn.
