Great series (both sets). I really like the "close in" framing of the buildings on 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Beautiful series Orio, I think I can hear the mandolins! Smile

I was thinking the same as Teo, where is everybody? I've only been there once and it was packed with tourists. Did you get up very early? Smile

Hehe Very Happy Trust me I'm no magician, I can not make tourists disappear at will Smile
Contrary to what would seem at first thought, August is not high season for Venice. Most families go to beach locations in August.
In fact, hotels of Venice are often discounted in August. I got a room with a big discount, 129 Euros for a marriage bed room in a 4-stars hotel where normally it would cost 239 Euros.
Secondly, tourists tend to pack into tourist places, that is, where tourist guides tell them to go. But Venice has a lot of alleys, canals and squares that are not mentioned in the guides and where tourists just don't go Wink
If you take a stroll through them, you get a lot of interesting views with almost nobody in the way. Smile
