Hey maxfire02,

Yes, that image has always been one of my favorites. It was an unusual day for Los Angeles -- very little smog. The building on the left at that time was the Crocker Bank building and the logo you see on the top right of the building is the old Crocker Bank logo. Crocker was bought out by Wells Fargo back in the late 1980s or early 1990s, not really sure when it occurred. At any rate, that logo is no more, and if Wells Fargo still owns the building, I'm sure they've replaced the old Crocker logo with their own.

It was mostly a bit of luck getting the sunshine reflection off the second building. By the way, the glass edifice on the right is a rather famous hotel (at least in LA) -- the Bonaventure.

Very nice yellow tones.
Well seen and done, Sorin !

Do you have yellow cabs in Montreal ?

PostPosted: Wed May 25, 2011 11:15 am    Post subject: Reply with quote

Thank you Olivier!
There is no standard color for cabs here.
Why asking?

Just because of the yellow wich seems the same as the yellow cabs' one.
I imagine such a street with thses yellow cars. It would be pretty amusing. Smile
