The Tamron 300 working well

Is it which Tamron 300 your f/2.8 or f/5.6 ?

Sorry it is the SP f5.6 300mm. I don't have the f2.8, although I have been considering selling the f4.5 400mm Fujinon to finance one. Now summer is here there doesn't seem any urgent need for for the extra speed.

A 300mm f/2.8 ?
That's a remarkable speed for such a long tele. How much does it cost?

Didn't we have a link to one of those lenses recently?

For the Tamron SP 2.8/300 Kadlubek estimates more than € 1100,- (used, mint).

You can get a S/H MF one which is Tamron Adaptall mount for ?250-300 The AF is ?2000 new and the last S/H one I saw went for around ?600, a pretty good buy and it was EOS fit.
