60% a lot too, not a safe range for lenses. In my experience safe zone is below 55%

Lucky you, I left a lens on 60 % for a week, fungus come out on surface first like oily spots.

High relative humidity is not really a problem if the lens is at a similar temperature to the air, as the vapour will not condense into water. If the lens is colder than the air, like when you come indoors in the winter, the vapour condenses and "steams up" the lens. Problems happen when a cold lens is left in its case or in a bag after coming into a warm room.

I must position that outdoor sensor somewhere more sensible - it's wrapped in a plastic bag which has a greenhouse effect on it. The real temp is closer to 21degC

Peter, we have the same conditions and forecast in Northwestern Washington. 14 degrees and constant fat rain currently. Sunny and warm after today for the rest of week. Excellent plant weather. Wink
