After some bad weather during the last three or four days, it just turned great: a cool 12-18° C, some clouds and dry. I love that!

This shot turns out to be interesting! No, I don't mean the obvious nice-looking sunbather, but the doll on the chaise in the foreground! Sort of a macabre or fantastical image, and the doll somehow has a foreboding feeling to it.

I think it's very nice to have a country where it is no "problem" to have the upper part of a woman's body showing. If we didn't have such "high morals" we might have better adjusted lives.

Anyway, good pictures, and I appreciate seeing the vignettes of your part of the world, poilu.

Our weather has turned to the usual fine September (and probably October) establishment of a high pressure system in the North Pacific that provides us with stunning sunny days for weeks at a time.

I think Poilu posts in this thread just for me.

I didn't even notice the sunbather the first couple of times I looked at the photo, the doll just creeps me out. I am with Larry, something bad is going to happen.

The crap storms are here already

On the last Saturday we had a really shit storm up here in North Puget Sound.
The dogs spent the entire day under my feet from nervousness.
Many lost power but we did not. However the cable has been out until now so no uploads (browsing from iPhone).
Anyway here is a shot of some damage we suffered.
If this "spear" had fallen 1/2 meter further into the house. It would have smashed my Besler 23C enlarger as our darkroom is on other other side of this wall.
6 months of storms and shit weather is now here

Gosh, Andy! That's weird! Does that happen often at your place?

After some rainy days, we had some nice weather today: cloudy with sunny spells, but dry and about 14°C at 60% r.h.
And the forecast says it will sill become better and a little warmer the next days. Not too bad for an autumn in Germany.
