Taken with the NX100 and the 20-50. ISO ranging from 800 to 3200.
There is some noise, but the pictures look very natural. Applying some denoise would have improved a lot the black areas.
No processing done other than exporting to JPG in LigthRoom.

Taken in Barcelona, Portal de l'Angel avenue, Pi street and nearby:

And a new friend of my wife:

Regards.
Jes.

Thanks for your comments, colleagues.

@Orio: She's always remembering our trip to Italy, so probably we'll be going back in the future Smile

@rbelyell: I'm really happy with it. For the first time in a long time, I care more on shooting than on the equipment itself Wink

@Attila: Just following your steps, Attila Wink

Regards.
Jes.

Which one do you recommend?. I got three 30mm f/3.5 and one 35mm f/3.5...

I haven't tried yet the Tokina 28mm 2.8 with your adapter (it fits, I mounted on the cam but no opportunity to try it yet).

Regards.

Ehm Jes, the Samsung NX 30/2, people buy NX bodies just to use it... Wink

Oh, right!. I was thinking on MF lenses only Wink

But at $299 it's a bit high for a Christmas present. (I already got the 50-200 OIS for my birthday and both dates are too close...).

Hi , Jes , how do you compare it at 800-3200 vs nex vs EPL1 ? seems a little noisy to me for APSC. I was tempted a while for a small AF kit .The primes seem very tempting .

Of course NEX have better performance regarding noise. The NX100 sensor seems to be the same than the Pentax K-7 one. I would say a little better than the E-P1, that was very noisy going up in ISO.

NX100 RAW files support well the denoising of Adobe Lightroom 3.6, without losing too much detail.

For MFlenses I use the NEX-C3. MY NX100 is my "compact" camera, I got it with the 20-50 lens for the price of a midlevel compact cam.
If I need ISO performance, I go for the NEX. On bright sunny days, or for casual or family shooting I do prefer the flatter colours of the NX100, (but this is a personal taste).

Currently the NX100 is being found at around 230€ in some shopping centers around here, same price that a Canon Powershot SX230 HS. To me the NX100 offers much more possibilities and quality than any of the price equivalent compact cam.

This is a sample of a colleague that lead me to purchase the cam:

(C) Alberto1982 in Flickr

Camera Samsung NX100
Exposure 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture f/5.6
Focal Length 50 mm
ISO Speed 100
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Lens Samsung 20-50mm f/3.5-5.6 ED

Right, yo have to find the right place... Wink and use to be a limitted number of units each time.

On FNAC in Barcelona, it went to 299€ then back to 369€ after selling a few units.
The ones at 230€ where at the shopping center "La Maquinista" until the units lasted. Now they don't stock it anymore.
