It's a terrible situation, I hope you get some rain soon and get those fires out. I read that Russia may be experiencing the effects of global warming before other regions.

My sympathies, and best wishes for the wind and rain soon; not too much rain though, just enough to clear the smoke and get ground cover plants growing enough to save the soil before Autumn & Winter deluges. Here in California was very bad seven years ago, but your place is much, much, much worse, imo. I cannot imagine how people can cope.

Reminds me of the bushfire smoke from Sydney in the 90s not good to breath in stay indoors as much as possible.
Is Russia prepared for fire fighting like this...in forests?

Thank all. This smoke was just a few days, and for about a month just hot.

House be good if there is air conditioning and air filter. And if not - better to go to work or a large shopping center, where there is air conditioning.

If no home air conditioners, helps cool shower or bath with cold water.

In fact its all over the contry. In my city the same stuff, and in most european part of Russia the same. Lots of fire in the forest...
Anyways it's fine for Moscow, the air there has a lot of bad stuff in it, due to enormous amount of cars. Smile

I have been to Russia..

I have been to Moscow, we went to Saratov then..

I was 13 at that time ..

I BOUGHT THE FIRST CAMERA in MY LIFE in Russia

it was Vilija and cost me 28 Russian Roubles ...

it was almost 90 per cent all expenses given by my parents ..

I lost that camera somewhere on trip a few year later ...

Russia is a HUGE COUNTRY and STRONG..

FINGERS CROSSED!!!
