@Lightshow: did you shoot wide open for that sample? it looks stunning.

I can get one here for merely 200 bucks, but I'm not sure if it's worth or not. I read mixed reviews on this lens, but seems like its f/1.2 is too soft. After seeing the photos here, I still can't decide.

200???
Get it, try it!
In case, you don't like it, resell it with a profit!

Thank you all for your suggestions, I will get there next month to test if it's good or not, it looks very good but somehow it has stayed there for years Shocked But seems like because in Korea not many people care about this lens, I found others with around $300 and only few is $500 (with full box and accessories)

Just checked it again, it's actually $250. I'm not sure if it has haze on the rear element or not.

They also have the f/1.4 for $10 less, this one looks much better

Hard to say if the 1.2 has fungus or haze.
@langstrum, it was WO or possibly one click down(Checked, it's at f1.4), mine doesn't have much if any glow wide open.
The 1.4 version is reputed to have very good quality, $240 is a fairly decent price.
The Nikkor 50/1.4 & 50/2 are nice too, I've been looking for one in great shape.
My Topcor-S 50/2 is currently my favorite RF 50.

I have the same though to all of the above suggestions, maybe the f1.4 will be a better deal.

It's still be excellent at f/1.4 or f/1.8, I'm still looking for a lens like this.

I found some RF Nikkor 50/1.4 and Topcor 50/2 here as well, but they rate them much higher than Canon ($500 - 800), so I don't even dare thinking about buying them Rolling Eyes

I noticed I have some samples from this lens on the A7r so I thought I would put them up Smile

This copy is not perfect, and was about 425USD But I like it.

Calibration is not great with M9, but I need to practice and get some shots anyway Smile

If I'm not mistaken, 50,000 copies of this lens were produced!

I recently made the same choice. Can't say I am disappointed.

However the money I saved didn't stay saved long. Instead it was invested (yea, like I said, invested
Smile ) in a Zeiss Ultron 1.8/50, which I still can't use because the adapter for my A7II is still coming from China.

heh, miy money just went out on a Canon 35mm f1.8 LTM

i needs 35mm rather than 50mm

it prolly wont still be there but also just spotted a Canon 50mm f1.4 LTM with a teleconverter! heh!

I went for a walk once comparing my LTM Canon 50/1.2 with Canon nFD 50/1.2 L and ...well...L was TECHNICALLY better I you would guess. I am keeping both Wink

In some situations the LTM is unbeatable, but overall FD L is a king.

Canon also made a somewhat rare 35/1.5 LTM.

The 35/1.8 is a nice lens. Very small and quite sharp.

But what really stunned me is the Canon 135/3.5 that I just got in the mail today. This is the first photo I took with it.

Agreed on the 135/3.5 LTM, superb lens, especially for the money.

I had this lens out today on the A7.mod:

Garth by unoh7, ISO 100, at 1/640, what was my aperture? At least the M9 makes a guess Sad

DSC00915-2 by unoh7, on Flickr
Above you can see most of the frame is actually very good at f/8 but the edges really collapse, unlike the 1.4.

The 1.4 is cool WO, but does not do this LOL
