The lines remind me of ASAHI Pentax.

That was my immediate thought.
The main bit of the body looks very similar to my MX, but it looks to have a square bulge above the lens that I'd guess to be a light meter from one of the earlier models before TTL, it doesn't look quite like the SV though...

Yes, he is Delon.

But the cam not sounds me like an Asahi.

And the lens is another mistery

I first thought a kind of Icarex for this outstanding bulge. Though the baseplate looks more Japanese than German. My final guess is a Rollei SLR. The early Pentax's had a more charged front plate, if I am not mistaken. And this camera has a simple and clean one.

For me it seems to be a german made camera.

The lens looks like a nikkor P.C. 8.5cm f/2 with a standard silver hood.

Looks like a Nikormat.
With a 105?
Edit: No,I'm wrong, it's missing the self timer.

It seems a joke.

All the experts are here (some of them, at least) and nobody can say what camera and lens are in the pic.

It can be a mashup so don't judge us too soon Smile. Is it promo photo or it is a scene from a movie? Which one?

It's an Asahi Pentax for sure, hard to guess the exact model (S1?S2?)

They are rare in black, that's for sure Wink

Photographer was Jack Garofalo, "Actor Alain Delon takes photographs on the Place Saint-Marc during the test for the filming of the movie 'Marco Polo' on March 12, 1962 in Venice, Italy."

.... and found a different (better) angle.. here it looks like a Pentax
