I never heard of this lens before, Tevidon name sounds like the name of a painkiller medication.

It's a video lens in C-mount, flange distance 17.526 mm, so it would be suitable strictly for macro work on a dSLR.

Yes, correct. The older types had a special bayonet mount, teh newer ones the modern C-mount. In either case the image circle is rather limited, but from 70mm onwards it could be used for macro on a DSLR, reversed also with shorter focal lengths of course. Very sharp lenses btw.
