Nice lens and shots.
Good colour rendition and quite sharp.

yeah, but what surprised me was how different bokeh is depending on lens being wide open or stopped down, especially with busy background (cat photo).

I had some cppies and versions of the pancolar 1,8/50.

All had different casts (yewllow, brown, green). The color were in the warmish side.

But I noted that in all my copies that the resoolution power, if very good, have not the punch that have another lenses. V.G. the takumar 50 or 55 lenses, among others.

And here i find that question too.

First, nice pics.

Second, tipical pancolar colors.

Third, Good resolution power, yes. But not among the best 50 mm in this topic.

Which version do you have, the zebra, the MC in red letters or in white ones ?

Rino

Woww, pic #2 amazed me ...

The bokeh in the cat photo looks like biotar/helios, is it?

Nice photos!
I would like to try mine out, but everything is in storage while our house is worked on. Fortunately in Hungary we will have many sunny days coming.
As I remember mine has sticky aperture blades. Can not close it all of the way.
