Having soerted out using the Tair 11a on my Nikon with infinity focus another lens arrived through the post - Telear 200 3.5.

Weather too overcast too properly test (wide open barely handholdable) but fully open doesn't seem as sharp as my AI'd NikkorQ 200/4 with a slight highlight glow. It will be interesting to see how it performs stopped down. The Nikkor is very good wide open but doesn't really improve stopped down.

Colour saturation on the Telear is typically strong soviet style. We shall see what it does with half decent light.

Congrats! I rate above this Telear than old Nikkor I look forward your opinion.

This Telear 200 is, as far as performance is concerned, my best long tele lens (closely followed by the Jupiter-21M).

Congratulations. I am sure you will like it.
