Hi,
I've found a Tamron SP 17mm F3.5 adaptall-2 for 110 € shipping included; is it a good price or should I spend this money for another super wide angle lens ?
Also it is sold with the Canon FD adaptall-2 ring and so I will need another one to fit it on my 5D.
Thanks ! _________________ Switching from M42 to Minolta MD & Contax/Yashica |

Yes you occasionally get a badly listed one on ebay for less, but they don't pop up frequently. Cheapest non-ebay store price I've seen was ?89 GBP + shipping for a dented example. _________________ Richard

I have found it easiest and cheapest to find an old tamron zoom with a A2 mount that you have adapters for (for me C/Y to eos). Last month I got a tamron 35-135 with A2 C/Y mount for $12 including shipping. The lens was no good (stuck all the way stopped down) but the mount is perfect. You can still find the A2 mounts new but not always so cheap.

I had this idea too as I can fit any M42, Nikkon, PK or C/Y mount lens on my Canon dSLR. _________________ Switching from M42 to Minolta MD & Contax/Yashica |
