I have a 1973 version of the above lens with an M42 mount.
I cannot lock the M/A switch into Manual. When sliding it across it keeps springing back to A.
It works fine in the A position. It stops down when the pin is pressed. This is no problem when using it with an adapter as it keeps the pin pressed down.
The lens does have a ding on the focusing ring so I'm wondering has something been knocked out of alignment?
I've only just got this lens, my first adaptamatic so maybe I'm not aware of something. When the mount is off it still won't lock into the M position.
Anybody know?
