According to Adaptall site this lens has an average performance but as this one is my longest tele yet I like to use it in concert wide open although it's a bit soft when wide open. I'll sell this one as I got my Tamron Adaptall2 80-200/2.8 LD in my hands which is a great performer.

Right now I have just high ISO (ISO1600) concert shots that I can share with you but I'll add portrait and some resolution and shapness test shots with you soon, even maybe today Smile

What about it's concert performance?
I liked it! My favourite lens (of course from my inventory) is Canon EF 28-135/3.5-5.6 IS USM as it really focuses fast and IS helps a lot as ISO1600 is even not enough most of the time as this is a slow lens (I usually use 1/10,1/20 at this concert hall) but as Tamron is faster and more tele it gives more freedom on the compositon cause I don't have the control of the lights on the stage and generally I can't move in the concert hall as there isn't enough space to move around so I have to end the concert at where I started: zoom is a life saver Smile

Ok let's come back to lens at the concert. I have real trouble in focusing, you can say that if you examine the bigger files, cause I have both myopia and astigmatism on my both eyes (switched to contact lenses) and my 400D's viewfinder isn't that bright. I've bought a focusing split screen from gadget infinity I hope it'll help. For Anna Maria Jopek I used the mic as focusing point although I know that I want the face more in the focus but I couldn't see the face that great as the stage ligths were working for the hair not the face.
