Trying to find an instruction manual among old papers, I stumbled upon this price list. I have no idea how it found its way to me.

It's interesting to see how some of these items have kept their value after almost 40 years (thanks, in part, to forums like this one).

Prices are in Canadian dollars.

Nice. The 70-150 2.8 soft focus still fetches $300+ on ebay. While something like the 80-210 goes very cheap.

Between 1977 and 1986 the Canadian dollar was generally in a period of sustained decline vs. the US dollar.

In 1981, year of the above price chart, the value of the Canadian dollar of course varied in US dollar terms. But a Canadian dollar was worth, as an overall, in the vicinity of $0.83 US during that year, plus or minus a couple of cents.

By 1982, though, the Canadian dollar traded at one point below 77 cents (U.S.), and its value, generally and with variations, continued to decline until 1986.
