Hello.

I've got this adapter in cosmetically excellent condition, but it has common issue with 3rd glass element - haze. I've inspected it under microscope and it seems that heat coefficients of glass and AR coating were different, so coating cracked into myriads of small pieces. I will try to mechanically or chemically remove the coating later, but I was given an advice by friend, who serves and repairs microscopes - we cleaned that element with pure ethanol, and applied couple of drops of immersion oil onto damaged coating, used in microscopes. Results were great - haze almost gone, and results were great! Of course, finally oil dried and problem is back, but hey, for some time it worked just fine. So if anyone can experiment with it on other lenses too, such information would be useful for everyone.

Excellent! Well done! Simply beautiful investigation & experimentation.
