This is the old pre-set Takumar 300/4, not a Super-Takumar or Super-Multi-Coated Takumar. This is the early 1960's version. Though large (82mm filter), its actually lighter than I thought it would be.
This is yet another Tokina, this time in Vivitar styling. This one is a T4, and the same lens with slightly different styling was sold by Soligor. A fixed mount version was sold by darn near everybody. This isn't a small lens, it is a pretty dominating presence on the little DSLR, but its nowhere near as big as the Takumar 300. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |
